Connected Moments: Family & Pet Portrait Sessions

The best family stories are the ones written together, and whether your family includes four legged friends or not, my goal is to capture the authentic, warm, and playful connections between you all.

I offer relaxed lifestyle portraiture for all families. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone as a couple, a new chapter with your children or simply including your four-legged best friend in the family album, we’ll craft images that feel completely true to you. From exploring the countryside on an outdoor adventure to capturing quiet, candid moments in the comfort of your own home, the focus is always on real expressions, unscripted giggles, and genuine connection.

A relaxed, enjoyable Experience

I know that family photoshoots can sometimes feel daunting, especially when trying to wrangle energetic toddlers, shy teenagers, or bouncy dogs! That’s why there’s never any pressure to perform or force stiff poses. We work entirely at your family’s natural pace. If your dog needs 20 minutes just to sniff every blade of grass before they settle, we take that time. There is never any rush to perform for the camera.

Don’t worry if your dog can’t be trusted off-lead or if the local park requires them to stay hitched. I am an expert at working with on-lead dogs; I use specific shooting techniques and post-production magic to seamlessly remove leads in the final edits. Your dog’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities.

The Investment

Our session fee of £150 includes:

  • A relaxed 90-minute to 2-hour experience either on-location outdoors or in the comfort of your home. This gives us plenty of time for games, snuggles, water/snack breaks and settling in without ever feeling rushed.

  • One professionally edited, high-resolution digital photo of your choice.

Beyond Your Top PiCK

Once your gallery is ready, you’ll be invited to view the full collection. Because we spend so much time together during the shoot, we usually end up with a wide variety of beautiful moments. If you find yourself falling in love with more than your included image, a range of additional digital photo packages are available to purchase, allowing you to tell the complete story of our day out:

  • Five digital photos £125

  • Ten digital photos £200

*When it comes to selecting your final images, there is never any rush or pressure. Choosing your digital photos happens only after you’ve seen your full gallery and had plenty of time to sit with the images and decide which ones you love most. While most of my clients typically invest in additional photos to keep a memory of their favourite moments —there is absolutely no minimum spend, no hidden fees, and no expectation. My priority is simply that you have a relaxed experience and walk away with portraits you truly treasure.

    We’ll talk about your family, any pets joining us, location ideas, what you’d love to capture and I’ll walk you through the finer details of the process and the investment options.

    Have something specific in mind? We can discuss bespoke options for your photoshoot and images. Then once we’re perfectly aligned, we’ll pick the best date and time to bring your vision to life.

  • It’s time for the main event!

    We’ll head to our chosen location for a relaxed, fun filled session. We’ll play games, share laughs, and let your family’s natural energy shine while I capture the magic behind the lens.

    Typically, family photoshoots will last between 90 minutes and two hours but may be shorter for families with puppies or very young children.

  • Between 7 and 14 days after our photoshoot, we’ll meet to view your curated gallery. This can be in person or via video call to suit your needs.

    This is the best part - you get to see all the beautiful moments we captured! Together, we’ll pick your absolute favourite images to be included in your package and discuss any additional digital images you’d like to invest in and cherish forever.
